I chose BTS after reading the reviews online and seeing great feedback about the trainers. I had a great experience with Dean - whilst I was coming in green and with a history of test anxiety, he had such a wealth of knowledge to impart. I liked that he gave a great focus on teaching for future context and didn't just focus on the test, but how I would need to drive for particular roles and employers. All in all I think I learned a lot, and I was stoked to pass the exam the first time around (unlike my Open C Class 10+ years ago). Looking back, I think I would have been better to do shorter lessons over a longer period of time - it would have given me more confidence in the moment, as well as being better energised to do the test. A packed lunch / snacks were vital for a solid energy boost before jumping in to the exam, particularly after being switched on, soaking up as much information as possible for 4 hours prior.

Neil was a patient professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made sure i was fully prepared for the test. He also engaged in safe conversation to settle nerves. Plenty of driving and practise was allowed in the session. I found the booking experience easy with great communication, tips to help pass the written part of the test. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone who needs to upgrade their licence requirements.

Tristan was a great trainer his knowledge is fantastic and gave me the confidence I needed to get through the course. No question was a silly question only to happy to help. From theory to driving to assessment was a nice smooth process. Definitely recommend Brisbane truck school to others. I also did Telehandler/Working at heights with Charlie definitely recommend his personality and his training was great. Very involved with training. Hugh was fantastic in the HRW EWP over 11m and EWP under 11m his knowledge and information was greatly appreciated. Rob and Kym were great trainers for the forklift course only to happy to help with questions and had patience for us more inexperienced people. Was a very good experience. Neil runs a fantastic business that's why I continue to recommend others. All in all yet another great experience training with Brisbane truck school/ civil trans training definitely worth the 5 hour drive. Definitely recommend to others.
