Low Voltage Rescue Course

Nationally Recognised Units of Competency:

  • UETDRMP018 - Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel
    • This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to perform a rescue from live low voltage (LV) electrical apparatus in an electricity supply industry (ESI) environment. This does not include overhead lines and underground cables.

Course Overview:

  • Duration - 2 hours
  • Time - 7:00am - 9:00am | Saturday
  • Course Fee - $65

Course Pre-Requisites:

  • HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Course Outline

  • Course includes both practical and theory elements
    • Face-to-Face theory & practical training.
    • Students will perform practical first aid and rescue activities.

Other Information

  • Participants must be a minimum of 14 years of age to sit the assessment, and be proficient in reading and writing English
  • Photo ID, wear appropriate clothing and closed in shoes
  • A short literacy and numeracy test will be required
  • Assessment type: Theory and Practical
  • On successfully completion of being deemed competent you will receive a statement of attainment issued by QTLT RTO #40931
  • Unit of competency UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel - Valid 1 year (requires annual refresher for industry)
