• Must supply either OHS/RII ticket OR VOC for BOTH competencies (minimum 12 months experience)

Requirements & Details:

• Participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age to sit the assessment, and be proficient in English
• Photo ID, and wear appropriate clothing and closed in shoes
• A short literacy and numeracy test will be required
• Assessment type: Theory and Practical
• After a successful competency assessment, you will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by Queensland Transport and Logistics Training Pty Ltd (QTLT) NVR RTO 40931. A plastic industry wallet card is available upon request to QTLT. 

Course Outline:

This nationally recognised training course gives participants the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently operate a Mine Service Vehicle and work in the resources and infrastructure industries and to test operational functions of vehicles and equipment in the resources and infrastructure industries.

• Plan and prepare for mine services vehicle operations.
• Conduct mine service vehicle activities
• Carry out operator maintenance
• Conduct housekeeping activities
• Plan and prepare for testing vehicles and equipment 
• Test vehicles and equipment 
• Complete the testing sequence
