The Safe Load Program (SLP) load training program is designed to provide transport industry drivers, terminal operators and trainers with the necessary knowledge and skill to safely enter a fuel terminal or fuel depot for the purpose of loading a bulk fuel tank. Applicable to Viva (Shell), BP, Mobil or Puma.

Course Overview:

  • Duration - 3.5 hours classroom training | OR Online Training
  • Time - 2.30pm - 5.30pm Wednesday
  • Course Fees - $300 - GST FREE

  • Current DG Driver Licence holders can set up their SLP accounts before the course and pay the SLP application fee directly to SLP. www.safeloadprogram.com.au SLP Application Fee is currently $150 GST Free

Requirements & Details:

  • Participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age to sit the assessment, and be proficient in English
  • Photo ID, and wear appropriate clothing and closed in shoes
  • Assessment type: Theory and Practical
  • Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a receipt and login number for terminal assessments, cost is approx. $150
  • Please note that this course is non-accredited, you will not be issued a Statement of Attainment upon completion of training

Unit of Competencies included in this course:

  • A1 - Identify and classify dangerous goods
  • A2 - Load bulk dangerous goods 
  • B1 - Apply occupational health and safety guidelines 
  • C1 - Control ignition sources
